ସରକାର ଙ୍କ ଯୋଜନା ମାଳ ମାଳ ହେଉଥିଲେ ବି ଆଜି ବି ଗରିବ ଗରିବ ସ୍ଥାନ ରେ ନିଆଳି ନିର୍ବାଚନ ମଣ୍ଡଳୀ ର ନିଆଳି ବ୍ଲକ ତହସିଲଦାର ଙ୍କ ପାଖକୁ ମାତ୍ର 500ମିଟର ଦୂର ରେ ଅସହାୟ ଦମ୍ପତି ରହୁଛନ୍ତି. ଘରେ ନୁହେଁ, ଗୁହାଳଘରେ. ଗୋଟେ ପଟେ ଗାଈ ଅନ୍ୟ ପଟେ ଅସହାୟ ଦଳିତ କୁମର ଭୋଇ 56ଏବଂ ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ଅନି ଭୋଇ ଲଗୁଚାପ ହେଲେ କାମ ସରିଲା ସ୍କୁଲ ବାରଣ୍ଡା ହିଁ ଏକ ମାତ୍ର ବିକଳ୍ପ.. ସରକାର ତରଫରୁ ମାତ୍ର 10କିଲ ଚାଉଳ ଆଉ କିଛି ନାହିଁ. ବହୁତ କଷ୍ଟ ରେ ଜୀବନ ବିତାଉଛନ୍ତି ଅସହାୟ ଦମ୍ପତି..
A small effort to put a little smile on the poor man’s face
Despite the government’s many plans, a helpless couple tries to find shelter only 500 meters from the Niali block tahsildar’s office under the Niali constituency. Not in a hut or house but in a cowshed. On one side of the shed are the cows, while on the other side are Dalit Kumar Bhoi (56 years) and his wife. If there is a storm, the only place for them to find a roof over their head is the verandah of the nearby School — when the school is out. They get merely 110 k.g. of rice. The helpless couple is living with great difficulty.
