Dear Friends and Family –
I hope this finds you well. As many of you know, India is facing a devastating crisis because of the second wave of the Coronavirus.
As a dance artist, I want to humbly contribute to local relief efforts here in India by offering a 2-day online Odissi workshop on the weekend of May 15-16. The proceeds of which will be used for Covid relief. The workshop is an introductory-level workshop (no previous dance experience required) aimed to give participants a flavour of the rich dance form.
All the proceeds from the workshop will go towards SEEDS’ (Sustainable Economic and Educational Development Society) COVID relief efforts in India. SEEDS is a non-political, non-sectarian and non-profit organization dedicated to promoting educational and economic progress and development in Odisha and other parts of the world.
